Guernsey & Jersey report

In June, whilst Britain was going to referendum on Europe, David Beard (Agent Liason Manager) and Brad Samuels (BWBF Direct) were honoured to pay a special visit to our partners in Guernsey and Jersey; Guernsey Blind Association and Eyecan (formerly Jersey Blind Society).

This was an important visit for all as we were able to open up and make available our services to the many sight impaired people living on these islands in a way we never have before. We are proud to be able to say that people living with sight loss on the Channel Islands now have full and unequivocal access to the services of our charitable fund as well as the ability to purchase specially adapted radios and USB Memory Stick Players through BWBF Direct.

We are delighted to welcome the valuable partnership of GBA and Eyecan and are happy to declare they are definitely IN the BWBF family.

If you know somebody living with sight loss in Guernsey or Jersey – tell them about BWBF - it could make all the difference to them!
