BWBF announce the launch of 'Lifeline to the World' project in North Wales

The ‘Lifeline to the World’ project will reach out to blind and partially sighted people in Denbigh and Henllan, in Denbighshire, providing them with one of BWBF’s specially adapted radios, along with additional support from a trained volunteer.

The project, which is generously funded by The Freeman Evans St David’s Day Charity, will involve volunteers from Denbigh and Henllan, who will visit blind and partially sighted people and provide instruction on the many features of one of BWBF’s specially adapted radios.

Our radios allow recipients to access a wide variety of audio options, including digital radio, talking books and newspapers, CDs, cassettes and much more.
We are currently recruiting for volunteers to support this project, please contact sophie@blind.org.uk for further details.
